Well today marks 3 sleeps until deglutenous set off on a gluten free holiday. We are madly trying to get the translation done for our cards that will explain what it means to be gluten free and require a gluten free meal.

Here is the text we have defined to have translated into Montenegrin, Croatian and Italian.

I have coeliac disease which can only be treated with a gluten free diet.

Can you please make sure my food is free from all gluten?
Gluten is contained in anything made from wheat, rye, barley or oats.

It is important that my food isn’t prepared on the same surface, with the same utensils or cooked in the same pan as anything containing gluten. This includes anything deep fried.

Certain foods which you wouldn’t expect to contain gluten are soy sauce and other bottled sauces, mayonnaise, some mustards and stock.

I can eat rice, maize, eggs, dairy products, nuts, all fresh fruit, veg, fish and meat.

If you are unsure if the food contains gluten, or is likely to have come into contact with gluten please tell me.

Thank you for your help.

We will share the translations as soon as we get back and are sure they worked. If you have any ideas for something that should be added to the cards get in contact with us.
